An organized collection of Forts knowledge delivered through spoken word that is properly stated would be an effective solution to educate the Forts community.īasically, we need to learn how to git gud and we need some help. There are many guides on Steam to learn and little bits and pieces of strategy spread on streams, but most new players don't know of these forms of media (not including streams).
This could bring not only more competetiveness in tourneys that seems to be lacking, but it will supply the Forts gods with more allies or opposition to join their ranks of godliness which would bring spice into the game.
To solve the problem of inexperienced and/or stagnant growth found in players, there should be a way for players to learn from the higher society of the Forts gods to play Forts well and improve, whether it be Incursus (youtuber) or an EarthWork Games (Developers) sponsored media.
There has also been an increase of new players since the multplayer free weekend and the competitive system. I think the reviews here are underrated, but this game is definitely worth a rent, and at 20 bucks just buy it.I've been playing Forts and watching streams since May of last year and let's just say I'm not seeing much improvement. I was beginning to feel like team17 did not have much left to offer other than new voices and weapons to their classic hit series, but this new turn from them shows great promise. All and all, a great addition to the worms collection. But to use the high-end weapons (grandma, sheep, the standard worms stuff) you need to create a better base. The combat is the same, you have to aim and account for wind and trajectory when firing.
You even capture strategic points to upgrade weaponry, or create buildings that give your troops bonuses. Each team builds a base, and the point is to blow up the enemy base or kill off every worm. The environment is NOT destructible anymore, however the buildings you create are. however the gameplay itself is fun, and keeps all the best things about worms 2d. I really hope that i can invert the camera scroll, at it is very hard to use in present state. I picked it up because it was worms, and it was 3-d. After walking through the tutorial (a MUST in this game) I got to say that I am liking this game quite a bit! I found it for 20 bucks (american) and has to be one of the best 'blind' purchases I have ever made for the PS2.
